Currently uploading images to the new Andrew Butler site, just like this one, wouldn’t mind being back in Palermo at the moment.

While we were in Palermo I was talking to a local dentist. His two wheeled choice was an old Honda 600cc trailie, quite cool as it goes. We discussed the fact that the two wheeled transport in the city was either ratty little ‘step-throughs’ or big BMW GS’s from various eras. He discounted the GS as a lame attempt at status (I have a GS).

No real reason for this image other than that I think it speaks volumes about the place and it’s people.

Sicilian Wedding

I guess it’s a bit cheeky crashing a Sicilian wedding uninvited. It was an impressive affair though down to the horse-drawn carriage. For once cars and bikes allowed themselves to be delayed.

A brief moment captured in the street as the bride prepared to enter the church photographed by Andrew Butler.

Everywhere you go there are these large scabby dogs, sleeping. Even in boutique doorways.
